All our non-teaching staff require a clear police check prior to commencing employment. We will organise this during the recruitment process with you. All teachers have a police check completed as part of their teacher registration.
You will receive an email straight away from us acknowledging your application. We do sometimes have a large number of applications to process so please bear with us, we are working as fast as possible to review all the applications and you will hear from us if you are shortlisted.
Interviews can feel daunting, so preparation is important, come ready with examples that show your skills and achievements. Dress professionally and arrive on time. Do remember it is a great chance to see if we are the right fit for you and you will have the opportunity to ask questions that you may have.
Unfortunately, we are not an accredited employer, you will need the appropriate work visa to be eligible to work with us.
If you’re a teacher currently living overseas and want to work in New Zealand, there are a few important steps to complete.
First, your teaching qualifications must be assessed by NZQA to confirm they meet at least a Level 7 New Zealand qualification standard. You can find more information or begin the assessment process using the link provided.
After your qualifications have been assessed, the next step is to apply for teacher registration. This registration is required in order to work as a qualified teacher in New Zealand. For details on how to apply, please refer to the teaching council website.
