Kia Ora,

Being a full-time Educator since 1996 my strengths have developed over that time. I am passionate about what I do and how I care for and educate the children. I am flexible around care requirements and will work with the family and their needs.

The order of the day is…FUN! We are out in the community often and go to the Library for Music and Story Time and attend weekly activities of Playgroup and Gymnastics.

I have a large safe section with plenty of outdoor space for developing physical activity at any age I believe in good old fashion values. For me that involves encouraging children to learn manners, respect and develop empathy and kindness toward others, to show them that they are valued as individuals, just as my parents did for me. Being valued can give a child a sense of belonging knowing that what they say or do means something.

Each child is unique, and I believe learns at their own pace and with no pressure. I feel it is important to notice and recognise their learning and to plan around a child’s current interest to enhance every opportunity for them.
