I am calm, and maintain nurturing and professional relationships with children and their whānau. My philosophy is based on the holistic way in which tamariki learn, I believe each child should be treated and respected as a person who is whole in mind, body and spirit.

My philosophy embodies the principles, strands and goals of Te Whāriki. I have strong beliefs surrounding the importance of learning through active exploration and investigations.

I acknowledge children’s play as valued and meaningful. I value the opportunities to get to know your child and hear and see their wonderings and am very passionate about creating further learning opportunities from these observations.
